About Us
Our story began when Agustinus Budi, once a senior engineer in the mining and petrochemical industries, discovered pottery during a short visit home in 2020. He joined a beginner’s class sparked and from that moment, shaping clay by hand became a calling.
He taught himself through books, videos, and countless experiments, slowly building his tools and even crafting his own kiln. After many trials, he completed his first ceramic piece, marking the start of a new journey. In June 2021, Agustinus left his engineering career and returned to Yogyakarta to open his own studio.
By August 2021, a living room had transformed into a working studio. Over time, the studio grew into a small team, Agela Pramesti (joined 2021), Galih Wijaya (2021), Rayhan Adiputra (2023), and Dyah Meilani (2025). Together, they keep the spirit of the studio alive with curiousity, dedication, and eagerness to learn.
Today, our work focuses on handmade tableware (cups, plates, bowls, teapots). Each piece is made slowly, thoughtfully, and with attention to detail. For us, pottery is more than creating functional objects. It’s about shaping pieces that bring warmth, comfort, and a meaningful connection into everyday life.
